Koncept Productions

We love what we do, so we go the extra mile for you.

From small beginnings in 1994 providing P.A. systems for small band nights around Herts & Bucks, Koncept productions has grown year on year, now with multiple areas of business. In addition to our extensive stock of stages, sound and lighting equipment and personnel to operate it, we have an inflatable hire business with more than 35 bouncy castles, slides and activity inflatables as well as numerous mascots that attend parties & events. Our experienced team include sound engineers, lighting technicians, registered electricians, children's entertainers and many crew to help with the various events we attend. 

We specialise in a custom approach to planning the technical side of events, and although we can offer an off-the-shelf solution we can make things that little more special with just a touch of care and attention.

With stage hire now a big part of what we do, we offer everything event organisers need to get live music at their festival. All of our equipment was purchased with the audience and the performers in mind, they are high quality and versatile so we can cater for all your needs.


MEET THE TEAM

Martin Ruff


Director

Martin has been working in the entertainment industry since he left school, some 25+ years ago.


An experienced sound engineer, Class 1 HGV driver and qualified electrician, Martin has worked in west-end and regional theatres and has now worked on over 800 indoor and outdoor productions with his company Koncept Productions


Martin takes care of the office ensuring event organisers needs are looked after.


Jacob Ruff-Peace


Supervisor

Jacob passed his degree in Sound Engineering at the SAE Institute in 2010 and has gained a wealth of experience since.


As part of the Koncept team, he now takes charge of our event projects.He holds a full Class 1 HGV licence so also takes care of our transport needs with as little hassle as possible.

Sophie Archer-Mills


Marketing & Business Development Manager 

Sophie is an experienced Event Manager, with knowledge and experience of outdoor community events as well as corporate events, private events and weddings.


Sophie manages the marketing side of Koncept Productions but also helps with office duties and can be seen at events, mostly taking photos.


Ben Nightingale


Assistant Supervisor

Ben has been a part of the team for over 8 years, starting as a general dog’s body in the warehouse, working his way up to being an important member of the crew. 

You will normally find Ben behind the wheel of one of the company vans, most likely towing a generator.  

As one of our lighting operators Ben can be found at a lot of events we attend, making our shows look amazing.

In Ben's spare time he likes to listen to 70’s & 80’s pop music and on his days off you can find him helping at the local football club. He is a king supporter of Arsenal.


Dennis Ruff


The Old Man

Dennis has had a lifetime of working in the electrical engineering and telecommunications industries. With a passion for sound and lighting, Dennis has been behind the scenes for many theatrical productions and is a keen traditional DJ running his own mobile Disco.  

Dennis can be seen on many of Koncept's events and has been known to dip his hand in his pocket to help finance major spends for the company.

A big part of Dennis' role is the general maintenance of the electrical equipment.


Joel Dyer


Online Sales Assistant

Fresh out of school, Joel has joined the team to run the new branch of Koncept, The Band Shop.


He can be found in the warehouse processing orders and making sure our customers are happy with their purchases.


In his down time he loves playing video games or listening to Reggae.


Gina Stonehewer


Sales Executive & Bookkeeper

She will be primarily working on the businesses’ accounts and chatting to clients about their events and requirements.


In her down time, Gina loves spending time with her children, and is a massive foodie.
