The Perfect Spring Event Stage

sophie

Welcome to Spring!

The great British weather is as unpredictable as ever, yet, after the gloom of winter, when spring rears its long-missed head, it could be the perfect time to host an outdoor event.

Why? I hear you cry. It could rain at any moment. It’s still cold.

All these things are irrevocably true, but it’s also the season of rebirth, where we immerge from our houses like bears waking from hibernation, looking for something to do in the sunnier days. Where the wind doesn’t freeze the skin off our bones, we feel braver in the fresh spring air.

We think this is the perfect time to be planning your events, attracting a large portion of the population who are looking for outdoor things to do.

We wrote a blog post last year about how spring was the new summer for events, with ideas on what events you could run, from religious festivals to food festivals. With the May bank holidays and the easter holidays the opportunities are endless to bring some outdoor fun to your community and entertainment after a cold winter.

We have the perfect stage to help you on your way to organising a wonderful event. Our bandstand is not only cost effective but a great centrepiece for any spring event. It’s got a traditional feel and all-round viewing for your guests. It would be perfect for an afternoon of music in the park or as part of a wider family easter fun day.

It’s a quick set up in under two hours and great for sites with limited access like town centres or parks. The heavy duty waterproof canopy will keep your performers dry and the different height options available make it perfect for audience experience.

Don’t let rain showers put you off from offering a great spring event this year and get in touch today if you want to discuss our bandstand in more detail.

What to do when weather strikes? We recently wrote a post about the different types of weather you need to be particularly careful of, and what precautions you need to take. The most common weather event we have in the UK is rain. But what impact does this have on an outdoor event, and what can you do to mitigate the situation?
