Answering your most asked questions

A question marks in lights

I’ve got an event planned but I’m not sure what I need?

Our team of experienced technicians can advise on options with a few simple pieces of information. For all your staging needs, check out our blog post How to Pick the Best Stage for Your Event, this will give you a list of things you need to know the answers to so we can find the right product to fit your needs. We can also offer lighting and sound packages based off that information; you can have a look at our blog post Things to Consider when Hiring a PA System for more on this. If you don’t have access to power, we can provide generators that can cover just the staging or your whole event site.

We don’t have early access to our site, is that a problem?

Earlier access to your site doesn’t have to be a problem. Our trailer stages can be set up in a fraction of the time of some of our bigger stages, this means that rigging and derigging can happen on the same day depending on event running times. Our modular staging can also be set up relatively quickly so is a great option if you’re tight on time.

We have a small budget, what are my options?

We have a several options for events with tight budgets. Whether it's booking one of our more budget friendly stages, like our modular stage, or scaling down the production size or optional extras, there’s often a solution for smaller budgets. We specialise in bespoke packages to make sure that you get what you need for your event for the right price.

Our site doesn’t have access to power, can you help?

Absolutely! We have various options available for power depending on what you will need it for. We can power just the stage and production side of the event, or we can power the whole event site if needed. With a bit more information our electricians can advise on the best product for your event and all of the health and safety information that comes with that.

We need lighting and sound but don’t understand the differences between the options?

Event organisers are specialists in planning and running an event and often don’t have all the information and knowledge around other areas like stage production. Experts like us can explain the difference between the options available and can advise based on the type of event you’re having. If you want to know more, we’ve got a couple of blog posts you might find interesting, Things to Consider when Hiring a PA System, A Guide to Stage Speakers, A Guide to Stage Lighting. Even if these feel like gobbledegook to you, speak to one of our experts who can advise.
